The Importance of Banks in Foreign Exchange and the Implications of the Currency Risk over the Bank Management

The concentration and the role of the banks in the development of the currency market represents the first element on influencing the major players and their strategies on a global scale. The currency market is considered the system of the relations between financial and currency exchanges explained by the relation of buying and selling currency or buying-selling deposits throughout foreign coins. This market is also called FOREX (Foreign exchange market), being the biggest financial market in the world. The overcome of borders and the globalization of markets and countries conducted to the internationalization of monetary markets that have great implications in the currency risk of the banks. This paper aims to highlight the main features of the Forex currency market in the light of the extraordinary needs and ability of the banks and the financial system to assure the stability, which not only support the economy but also develop a complex sistem of instruments, transactions - both in the capital market and especially on the currency market - but also by products and derivatives in order to complete the proper satisfaction of clients and other banks. INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL COMPONENTS AS CAUSES OF REGIONAL DISPARITIES. A CASE STUDY IN ROMANIA

Starting from a Logit model developed in the past we try to provide empirical support for counties disparities regarding intellectual capital factor influence. The study presents some correlation between economic performance, structure of activity in the county and intellectual components: human capital, organizational capital and customer capital. Because of various differences between counties we may consider that specific models are more indicated to analyze local behaviour. Also the results can give important information about association of counties by factor development and can also show the gaps between administrative organization forms with main purpose: a future more efficient investment and developmentintellectual capital, logit model, human capital, SME, structural capital, counties disparities

USING CROP DUSTERS FOR PHYTOSANITARY PROTECTION OF THE AGRICULTURAL AND FORESTRY CROPS

In some conditions, like the excess moisture content in the soil is not possible to use terrestrial equipments for pest and disease control. As an alternative, using crop dusters at the current time constitutes an important and effective means to perform agricultural and forestry works. The possibility of carrying out treatments with low volume and ultra low volume of pharmacologically substance, using pneumatic and centrifugal scattering systems, has determined that the specialists in this field to grant this technology a special importance. The work raises in a uniform manner problems concerning an uniform application of the sprayed solution and presents the possibilities for the determination of the liquid flow, the treated areas, all of these in direct relation with the productivity of the crop duster. Highlighting the obtained effect of combating and also the superior effectiveness of treatments carried out with crop dusters is one of the major features of this work

STUDIES ON THE EFFICIENCY OF THE USE OF DUST FILTERS AT THE WORKING FACILITIES FROM THE COMPOUND FEED FACTORIES

The technological process of obtaining the compound feeds involves the mixing of the milled cereals in the mills of the work installation with protein flours, mineral salts and vegetable oils. During the activities of grinding cereals and obtaining granules of finished product, it can be detached fine particles which forming the dust that is released in the air. This article analyzes the technological process for the preparation of compound feeds with accent on the stages of grinding, granulation and homogenization of the finished product, for study the problems who can appear due to the eliminated dust in the air by the working installations. The measurements effectuated attest the efficiency of the use of special filtres and automatized control systems of dust concentrations according to the pollution norms imposed by the European Union in order to protect the environment
